Last night K and I went to the 92nd Street Y to see Lucie Arnaz speak. It was exactly what I hoped it would be!
Although Rex Reed (her interviewer) said that the only thing she didn't want to do was spend the night talking about her parents, that's exactly what she did. I don't know that I would recognize her if I saw her on the street. She looks neither Cuban nor blue-eyed and exaggerated. Her storied seemed very rehearsed, and no wonder, I am sure she has told the same experiences since she was old enough to be asked questions. The hour and 15 minutes certainly did fly by though, and I laughed a lot.
Halloween is coming up, I can't decide what we will be! We were going to be crayons... but that apparently is too lame. I thought it would be funny! I don;t even really know what we are doing, I think we are going to watch the parade for a while, we'll obviously hit a few bars, but beyond that it is in the air.
